Blue Skies received two Great Taste Awards for its ice-cream. Recognised as a stamp of excellence among UK consumers and retailers alike, Great Taste values taste above all else, with no regard for branding and packaging.


2018 FPC Fresh Awards

Blue Skies was awarded Supermarket Supplier of the Year and Best Place to Work at the 2018 Fresh Awards. The award recognised the Blue Skies unique culture which enabled the business to develop new products and enter in new markets, despite a challenging business climate.

2018 EMY Africa Awards

Anthony was presented with the Green Corporate Star Award  in recognition of Blue Skies outstanding contribution to the economy in Ghana by employing over 4,000 people at its peak and supporting farmers.

2017 Waitrose Way Award

Blue Skies was won the award for Best Own Brand Supplier for its School Farm of the Year Competition, which is run in Ghana with support from the Blue Skies Foundation in partnership with Waitrose and Albert Heijn.

2017 AGI Awards

Blue Skies was named Best Company in the Food Sector in the 6th AGI Ghana Industry Awards in Accra. The award recognises the company's performance over the past year and it's achievements in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.

2017 FPC Fresh Awards

Blue Skies was awarded Supermarket Supplier of the Year at the 2017 Fresh Awards. The award recognised how Blue Skies was able manage significant growth in a challenging post-brexit climate thanks to its ‘Joint Effort Enterprise’ (JEE) model.

2016 FPC Fresh Awards

Blue Skies won Best Place to Work, CSR Excellence, Fresh Produce Business of the Year and a Lifetime Achievement Award for our Chairman and Founder, Anthony Pile. The awards recognised the Blue Skies ethos and how it has enabled significant growth while delivering sustainable benefits in Africa and South America.

Queens Award For Enterprise

In 2008, 2011 & 2015 Blue Skies is honoured to have been awarded a Queens Award for Enterprise in the Sustainable Development category in recognition of its continuous achievement in the provision of fresh-cut fruit, prepared at source, and aimed at maximising the sustainability benefits created for local producers.

2015 FPC Fresh Awards

Blue Skies has picked up an FPC Fresh Award for CSR Excellence. Blue Skies received its award in the Business Excellence Category in recognition of its commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices through the Joint Effort Enterprise model.

2015 African Economy Builder Award

Blue Skies Chairman Anthony Pile was presented a 2014 African Economy Builder Award at a gala dinner in the Ivorian capital city, Abidjan for his outstanding contribution to the development of the continent.

2014 Ghana Made Awards

Blue Skies juice was recognized as the best 100% Natural Juice during a glittering ceremony in Accra. The award was presented at the 2014 Ghana Made Awards organised by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana. it recognises Blue Skies freshly squeezed juice which has become the leading fresh juice brand in Ghana.

2013 Great British Entrepreneur Awards

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards sponsored by Bizcrowd are set to become the recognised standard of excellence amongst entrepreneurs. Our Founder Anthony Pile was awarded 2013 Social Entrepreneur of the Year and the Eco Entrepreneur Bizcrowd Special Merit Award.

2012 Re:fresh Processor of the Year

The Re:Fresh Awards are organised by the Fresh Produce Journal and the UK Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC). The award recognises how Blue Skies has overcome the challenges facing its sector through strategic and innovative thinking.

2012 Waitrose Way Awards

The Waitrose Way is an initiative that has been introduced to promote the philosophy that encompasses the way the UK retailer ‘Waitrose’ operates. Blue Skies was awarded the Blue Skies Joint Effort Enterprise (JEE) model which promotes diversity and a culture of respect as key components for making a sustainable business.

2011 FAB Award

This award was presented at the 2011 International Food and Beverage Awards (FAB) in London and commends the new brand identity that has been designed for Blue Skies.  The FAB Awards is an international Creative Awards programme focused entirely on work done for Food And Beverage brands.
